Happy book birthday to Bridget Zinn’s Poison!

I do wish I could have known Bridget. I feel like I did as I followed her blog posts before and throughout her illness. We walked the same halls at UW-Madison. We hung out at CCBC book discussions … just a few years apart. Reading about her today I learn she met her husband at the country fair. An odd and charming parallel, as that is where I met my husband. So she feels like a kindred spirit. I’m so glad to have this book and to celebrate it and her spirit.
